Uttarakhand Lower PCS Main Exam Syllabus and Pattern 2017 :
UKPSC has officially released result of Uttarakhand lower pcs exam 2016-17 for various posts NT Naib Tehsildar ,Supply Inspector,Taxation Officer,Passengers Tax. Candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary exam are qualified for mains exam. Here we are providing Exam pattern and syllabus for Uttarakhand lower PCS Exam 2017.
Note : Marks obtained in Preliminary Examination shall not be added with the marks obtained in Main written Examination for determining the merit.

The Uttarakhand Lower PCS main exam will consist of two papers ( Paper - 1 and paper 2 ). Both papers will be Subjective/ Descriptive Type.The total time allotted for each paper is 3 hours. Candidates who will cleared the written exam will be qualify for Interview.

Lower Subordinate Services Examination Syllabus Main Examination (Subjective/Descriptive Type) :
Paper-1 General Studies
Paper-1 General Studies : This paper carries 20 questions. Each question carries 10 marks. All questions are compulsory. The word limit for each question is 100 words.

You can write essay either in Hindi or English. The word length for essay is approximately 400 words.

➣विज्ञान पर्यावरण एवं प्रौद्योगिकी (Science, Environment & Technology)
➣राष्ट्रीय एवं अन्तराष्ट्रीय घटनाक्रम (National & International Events)
➣प्राकृतिक आपदायें यथा भूस्खलन, भूकम्प, बाढ़, सूखा आदि। (Natural Calamities like Landslide, Earthquake, Deluge, Drought etc.)
2- हिन्दी सारांश लेखन ( Hindi summary writing ) ( Approx 300 Words ) - 50 Marks

(ख)मूल गद्यांश का सारांश-30 अंक
(ग)तीन रेखांकित अंशों की व्याख्या-15 अंक
3 - हिन्दी आलेखन ( Hindi drafting ) - 50 अंक
शासकीय, अर्द्धशासकीय पत्र, कार्यालय आदेश, कार्यालय ज्ञाप, परिपत्र, विज्ञप्ति, निविदा सूचना टिप्पणी
4- हिन्दी गद्यांश का अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद ( Hindi Translation into English Language )- 25 अंक
5- अंग्रेजी गद्यांश का हिन्दी में अनुवाद ( English Translation into Hindi Language ) -25 अंक
